Step back into the early days of photography and experience the fascinating 19th-century wet plate collodion process. Participants will observe and take part in the preparation of photographic plates, including coating, sensitizing, exposing, and developing images by hand. This class offers a unique opportunity to understand how early photographers captured portraits and landscapes, producing one-of-a-kind images on glass or metal. Attendees will gain an appreciation for the artistry, precision, and historical significance of this remarkable photographic technique. Limit 25 people.
