Come Sip with Me

  • Stagecoach inn Museum 51 South Ventu Park Road Thousand Oaks, CA, 91320 United States (map)

You are invited to a humorous outdoor performance on the Grand Porch of the Stagecoach Inn Museum, as a “snooty” group of high-society Conejo Valley Women plan a Victorian Tea for a very special guest. This amusing presentation of the “do’s and don’ts” of proper tea drinking is included in your general museum admission of $7 per person (card or exact cash please).

In addition to the show, guests are welcomed back back for a safely socially distanced indoor/outdoor museum experience, Saturdays from 1:00-4:00 pm. Visitors may enjoy our beautiful four-acre property, designated by the City of Thousand Oaks as Historical Landmark No. 1.

Originally built in 1876 as the Grand Union Hotel, the Stagecoach Inn, houses a collection of Victorian era furnishings and historical artifacts. The museum complex also boasts a one-room schoolhouse, Carriage House with stagecoaches, working Blacksmith Shop, Pioneer Home, California Adobe, Chumash Ap, Heritage Rose Garden, Nature Trail, Heritage Farm Trail and dedicated, knowledgeable volunteers and docents.

For those wanting to experience what life was like in the early days of the Conejo Valley. Several exhibits are augmented with new QR code signage, offering “Virtual Tour” video enhancements via your smart phone. The Gift Emporium will also be open, offering books, specialty historic items, unique gifts, and crafts made by our blacksmiths, woodworkers, and other volunteers.

Masks are always required, and social distancing will be practiced.
